There has been one report of account suspensions (possibly associated with posting links on FUD).
I think its a bug.
I just want to verify that this isn’t happening to anyone else.
Go easy on the links till new users are promoted to member. The forum service TuD and FUD use has built in limits to stop bots and spammers. People with new accounts can get caught by these. Because its automated they’ll usually be re-enabled automagically after a short time.
One of the downsides of the Discourse platform is they they don’t just pop up an error when trying to post something so Its hard to know what’s allowed. Linda’s trust level is visible in her profile on FUD: Trust Level basic user. Compared to TuD

Not a bug. New members are probationary, they cannot post links until they have been members for a while. This is a way to prevent spammers. IIRC, the post get auto blocked and after 3 there is a temporary suspension. Just refrain from posting links.
