I have an admin question. I don’t know who the current admins are. If you are an admin, and have my phone number, gimmie a call. I have a tech question - I’m wondering how much it costs to host this platform.
The Docs are trying to solve complex problems on LinkedIn, but that doesn’t work. So, all they do it circle round and round saying the same things over and over. LinkedIn and FB are Single Page Applications (SPAs) and they are useless for anything other than highly superficial content - like a single sentence comment for marketing purposes, or posting a picture of a cat.
I’m trying to explain that to them. But I don’t actually know exactly who pays for our forum (and I don’t need to know that - I kinda know) or how much it costs. Once of my concerns is that Docs don’t have advocacy organizations who pay for things, but they might have professional orgs that could sponsor without a bunch of conflict of interest. I dunno.
If the Docs could organize themselves and help fix some of the problems in healthcare, it might be a lot better. They REALLY want to, but they don’t know how. It’s a shameful waste of talent to send all that energy spinning off into nowhere on LinkedIn and FB. Look at what they are to. I’ve been watching them for a bit. See how mad they are? They are everywhere, in a rage, on linkedIn.
