Anyone used Edgepark diabetics supplier?

Type 3, I, too, had some issues with Edgepark. I had asked them to research how much my copay would be and they came back and told me, (using a round number), $200. So, I paid the $200. The shipment arrived and I used the supplies. Then, a bit later (number of months) I got a bill! For $353! I called and they told me the insurance only covered X number of dollars, and the balance is mine.

That was what they were supposed to check on when I called to order. So, I called my insurance company and they said they never had any communication from Edgepark before they shipped the supplies, and they never issued a form to show how much they would pay. So, Edgepark was caught in a lie. I will not pay the additional amount and am awaiting a time when they take me to court. I will request they produce the form from the insurance to show they called, which they cannot do because they did not call.

It's been over a year and I still get that doggone bill. In the meantime, I switched to CCS.

I'm not complaining, just frustrated that this was a mild form of coercion.

CCS?

Out of pocket seems a lot! I could never do that as I never make enough to do so. The only reason why I am not using Neighborhood Diabetes is that they dont take the insurance that is assigned to me from the state. So I have to go with that.
