Briefly mentioned at today’s Apple developer’s conference was a feature in th upcoming iOS that will allow Apple Watch to read directly from a Dexcom G5 without needing an iPhone. That’s a nice improvement.

From the Dexcom G5 receiver or directly from the G5 transmitter?
I assume from the transmitter. Eliminate the middle man.
I’m so excited!!! But I need to start saving money

XDrip+ running on Android already supports the Android Wear watch which connects directly to the Dexcom transmitter in our out of range from the phone:)
