Hi all. Does anyone out there have an OrangeLink (or any similar bridge device) that they’d be willing to sell me?
Hi Michael,
There must be a good reason why you’re trying to find a used bridge device instead of buying a new one. Perhaps if you shared more of your story you might increase your chances here.
In any case, I hope you find such a device soon.
Terry
Well, I don’t know Michael’s reason, but I can think of 185 reason’s why I would not want to buy a new one!

Hum… I paid USD165 on 1/14/2022 when I was seriously considering it as an approach. It was an “OrangeLink Pro.” I dropped the idea when I found out about AndroidAPS so mine is NIB!
Inflation since 2022 has been significant and then there is the 25% destination sales tax in the US. This web site which, since it is owned by the current government, probably does not take into account the tariffs, gives this result:
Please ignore the advert, I miscropped the screen shot. Sounds like $185 is a pretty good price for a new one so my NIB can’t compete, even if I didn’t want to add the 25% as well.
Incidentally, the battery is replaceable; it’s not like an iPhone, so it should work for a very long time given the simplicity of the components and, from what I could see, the quality of the construction.
Here are the TuD reviews of the OrangeLink which I believe I read before buying mine:
I never used it but it sounded to me at the time that it was worth the money (same price as today, with inflation). If you can’t afford that I suggest asking explicitly for a RileyLink; see the comments above. Be prepared to pay a reasonable cost for shipping.
