I have been using it in my Weight Loss Group for years. I recommend it to everyone. I would not be without it. I jave lost 56 pounds and have kept it off for 17 years. This book is my Bible. Reed, the Seagator

I love the Calorie King website, but I have the same complaint about all of these resources: I do NOT want all the processed foods and restaurant menus. I just want to be able to look up blueberries without Sarah Lee and the Pancake House shoved in my face. I don't eat all that garbage and my ideal calorie/carb resource would allow you to just click a box that said something like "real foods only" and poof, all the chemical, packaged, processed junk would be eliminated from my search results. I want raw, real onions to come up first, not fried onions rings. I want hamburger meat to come up first, not McDonalds. It's very frustrating to wade through all the KFC when I just want the data on the real, unprocessed chicken thighs I'm about to cook. I'd be happy to pay a fee and avoid all the food ads and "placement" ads in the search results. Gah.

Thanks for sharing, SEAGATOR! Nice to hear the book has been an integral part of your success! Best, Laura K.

Thanks for your comment, Jean. We'll be certain to pass it along to Allan and Keith from CalorieKing. Further,we’re always looking for ways to improve our GoMeals smartphone application, which leverages the CalorieKing database. So I will also share your comment with the GoMeals team so they’re aware of your suggestion too.
Best,
