Crunchy Snacks—cheese puffs and almond crackers

Cheese puffs
Buy kraft thick cheese slices lay 2 on a piece of parchment paper and micro on high for 2 mins till all puffed up…let cool, they should be chestnut brown inside when you bite into them…these can be carried around for days in a plastic bag, or I cut the cheese up before I puff it and then you can make little canapes out of them with nice toppings.

almond crackers…GIVE THESE A TRY

1 cup ground almonds (with skins included)
1 egg white
mix to dough, spray a piece of tinfoil with pam and roll out very thinly using saranwrap on top,score and bake 250 for 10 mins till crisp

next time make a double recipe!

Just tried the cheese one with a piece of cheddar (actually a Land O Lakes snack cheese). It didn’t puff. Just got all bubbly/crackly. Cooled to a delicious crispy snack. Very yummy. Definitely great for a salty/crunchy craving. Thanks again!
