Wonder what kind of complications he's having? Blood clots maybe since the article says he can travel by car but not by plane?
I get nervous when there are posts with just a link. I'm not always sure whether it is something malicious. I think it is always good to have a description and something which can help me feel safe clicking the link. In this case, TMZ is a gossip/entertainment ite and I think it is ok. None of the recent "gossips" about Wayans actually get to the root of his diabetes problem. He was diagnosed in 2013, it is widespread in his family. And if you watch this interview from last year it appears that he is just freaked over having to use insulin. He talks about a restricted low carb diet, but it isn't clear whether he is being successful with it. It is hard to know, but it may just be that travel is just too much stress and disruption for him to be able to control his diabetes.
I wish he would feel comfortable coming here, I'd like to be able to help him.I know what you mean Brian. Same here, about links you never know.
You forget that celebs are people too. And they forget that they aren't living in a bubble--regular people deal with the same health issues they deal with on a daily basis. We could guide them on the stress of it all, and they could help us with their power to get the word out.
He MAY actually be a member but, naturally, wouldn't use his real name in a publicly visible forum. For all anyone knows he could be you, or me or...
I sure hope that's the case. Celebrity isolation probably stinks when it comes to needing support.
That is so true. Of course, I'm no celeb. I would love the perks, but not the paps associated with it. I can't tolerate nosy co-workers, much less tabloids in my business.
Hats off to those celebs that do lay their problems out for the world to see. They give us encouragement--not only for diabetes but other medical issues as well.
When Kathleen Turner came out about her RA battle and said prednisone caused her weight gain, it made me feel better to know she was fighting the same battle I was with my RA.
