I have found Ralph’s writings to be eerily targeted many times. Here is one that I like particularly well.

Worthy of the best
by Ralph Marston

You are worthy of the best in life. So act like it.

You are worthy, but that doesn’t mean you’re entitled. It means you have the responsibility to live up to that worthiness, to live up to your full potential.

You are worthy of the best because you are capable of creating, experiencing and enjoying the best. You can reach inside yourself, feel your authentic desire, and bring that desire to life.

You are worthy, and yet that doesn’t mean you can have what you want without effort. In fact, it is your worthiness that obligates you to make those efforts that will bring about the best you can imagine.

Remember always how truly worthy, beautiful and unique you are. Live each moment of your life as an expression of that worthiness.

Let your thoughts, priorities and actions reflect the worthiness that is you. You are worthy of the best, so be your best, now and always.

It’s tough especially when you get a pass/fail mark everytime you test your bs.

Hope things smooth out for you.

@Jim26 thank you! They have smoothed out… So I guess today I ā€œpassā€. Who know what tomorrow brings???

Bridge Over Troubled Water

This is all so relentlessly UPBEAT!

Personally I find there’s nothing like a bit of Samuel Beckett to cheer me up…

POZZO: …They give birth astride of a grave, the light gleams an instant, then it’s night once more…

VLADIMIR: Astride of a grave and a difficult birth. Down in the hole, lingeringly, the grave digger puts on the forceps. We have time to grow old. The air is full of our cries.

Waiting for Godot, Act 2.

@jjm335 Its all that waiting for Samuel Beckett to seep into my brain that freaks me out.

@Stuart my favorite gymnastics coach is well beyond 70 years old… Everyone always asks ā€œwhen are you going to retire?ā€ His response every time ā€œyou quite moving you dieā€. Why surrender!?

ā€œI do not want this… don’t you tell me how I feel- you don’t know just how I feelā€
ā€œWhat doesn’t kill us makes us who we areā€

ā€œI always feel happy, you know why?
Because I don’t expect anything from anyone; expectations always hurt… Life is short… So love your life… Be happy… And Keep smiling… Just Live for yourself and always remember:
Before you speak… Listen
Before you write… Think
Before you spend… Earn
Before you pray… Forgive
Before you hurt… Feel
Before you hate… Love
Before you quit… Try
Before you die… Live.ā€

Hey, i have a funny saying that i heard at Camp Conrad Chinnock, a camp for type 1 diabetics. ā€œDiabetics are the only people who take drugs to KEEP from getting highā€. It’s not really inspirational, but it’s really funny!!!
