I’ve been looking for a no sugar, lo carb dark chocolate that I can nibble on. I found this Doctor’s CarbRite 3 oz. SugarFree Chocolate Bars. My girlfriend is concerned that the 4 oz of carbs can turn to sugar. I’m not sure. I had one square this evening. Waiting to take my BG in a few to see if any overall effect.
If anyone has any experience with these, please let me know.
Also, what about Maltitol? I know it can be a laxative over 100 mg’s. It’s not recommended to eat a lot at one sitting. What about the sugar alcohols? Does that make a difference to a diabetic?
