Ever wonder what happens when you use those expired test strips? We did so we did a little test and this is what we found

Great post! My problem is that (Accucheck meter) rejects expired dates and I am struggling with figuring out how to override that.

I'm currently using an expired glucose sensor. I started it this morning, and have tested low almost all day long. If the meter tests at 5, my CGM is reading at 3. I have the auto suspend for sugars lower than 2.5, and it's suspended twice on me! I'll be interested to see how the rest of the day goes. Perhaps using the expired sensor will turn out to be a bad idea...
