I heard that pump companies can come to your house to show you their pumps sometimes…
True or False?
I want to look at the Animas 2020 “Ping” and I thought that maybe the company can send me a free trial one just to check it out…is this possible??
When I started on Cozmo, they sent a representative to my house to show me how to use the pump. I have heard that they do send representatives to show the pump.
I also once met with a (Minimed) pump representative at my doctors office. They showed me the pump and the CGMS. Also, I did a trial with the Minimed CGMS and I had a problem with the site and the pump representative showed up at my house within hours. I was impressed. They want our business.
Of course it depends if they have a representative that lives reasonably close to you. You should call and ask… the worse that they can do is to say no!
do you think I could call the animas pump company today? I’m not sure if they are open or not on Sundays…
I think that they are open for calls 24 hours a day-- at least their technical line is. I’m not sure about the sales line.

How did the meeting with the Animas representative go?
it went well. She showed me the one touch ping in different colors and i even tried an infusion set…it didn’t really hurt. She explained to me a little about the pump and told me her story. She had diabetes for 32 years and right now she is on the animas ping.
