For those interested in Team Type 1

Thomas Rabou was named Most Courageous in today's Tour de California race. I'm still looking for an article about it but they are tweeting and posted some pics - here's the link -

Video interview: http://teamtype1.org/news_stories/show/49

Awesome - thanks for the links Fred much appreciated! I’m in So Cal but a good friend of mine went to the race yesterday - supporting both Team T1 and Team T2 so good luck to you all. I hope others use you guys as an inspiration!

Did you guys see that TT1 took 5th in Cali!?

The Team Type 1 Elite Team leaves in the Race Across America (RAAM) on Saturday. I’m going to Durango, CO to watch them pass through on Monday AM! Woooohoooo!

The race across America.

The Team Type I, an eight-man relay squad, was the top team, finishing early Friday in 5 days, 10 hours, 48 minutes by averaging 22.97 mph. They started Saturday.

Nothing against the feat or TT1, but it sure would be nice if the RaAAM (Race Almost Across AMerica) still went ALL THE WAY ACROSS the country. Going 3000 miles and stopping just 100 miles short of the other ocean? I guess I’m just bitter because they used to roll into my area for the finish. Stupid casinos wanted no part of it I guess.

Here’s an article from Diabetes Forecast where they interview Joe E. about RAAM and TT1 stuff.
