I’m making the switch from G6 to G7 soon. I use a Pixel Watch. Currently, I used the Dexcom G6 watch app to view my numbers on my watch, but G7 only supports Apple watches and isn’t available for the Pixel. Also, due to a Pixel Wear OS problem, Blose doesn’t work.
Any ideas? Having my numbers on my watch face is very important to me at work.
I am on DexcomG7 and display on my Google Pixel Pro watch 2 using Blose. A while back there was an issue with the Pixel Wear OS and ever since that time, the Blose does not display 100% of the features it displayed before the OS issue, but it does show the graph with the display updated every 5 minutes and you can still drill down to see all the raw data, logs, graphs and config options that were there before the OS issue. My watch is paired to my Google Pixel Pro 7 Android phone. Blose is pretty responsive and you can always email them if you are having issues.
PS - The watchface is now called Blose Digital Classic and I believe it was designed to run on pretty much any android phone
My experience is not yours, since I use the G6 and have a Samsung 10S+ with a Samsung 5 Pro Watch, and although the Dexcom app works on my phone, it has never worked on my watch. Getting it to work on my watch has long been a hack.
Note, this might be out of date, and since I wanted to get the numbers as a complication, I had to install third-party apps.
This discussion led me to check out other options, and I stumbled on Gluroo, which is in the Google Play Store, and installed it yesterday. I like the overall display better than Blose, but the numbers are a bit small and tough to read with aging eyesite. Additionally, when I went to install it yesterday I got a message that it is not compatible with Wear OS5, but they are working on it and should soon be available. I am on Wear OS5. Today I got a message that it is in Beta and voila, it started displaying on my Pixel 2 Pro watch.
At the Blose maker’s suggestion, I tried GlucoDataHandler. This can pull numbers from a lot of different places. I then set that as a complication on another watch face. I don’t have a graph, but I have trend arrows.
I believe there are watch faces available on WatchMaker that may work on Wear OS. They work best using xDrip+, and can get data from MM G4, Dex 6 or 7, and Libre. I have a couple watch faces there that show BG and trend on the watch face, and then pressing the screen opens the graph complications. Search for diabetes, xDrip, and Dexcom. You will have to install/purchase some apps to get it to work.
Welcome to the community. I am confused about your one question. I have a Pixel Pro 7 phone and a Pixel Pro 2 watch. There are 2 watch models, mine is the LTE model. I can put several different watch faces on the watch and see activities such as step count, Date/Time, Blood glucose graph, BG trend etc. These watch faces can be set up to display what you want to see on the face. I think you need to be a little more specific about what you are looking to see and where you are looking to see it: on your phone or watch.
The Pixel watch also comes with Fitbit data, some of it free to use and other data available by subscription.
