Happy Holidays from Diabetes Hands Foundation

Hi TuDiabetes friends and family!

It's hard to believe that 2014 is drawing to a close already. This has been an action-packed year on TuDiabetes, and at the Diabetes Hands Foundation, and 2015 promises to be incredibly lively as well. But before the New Year begins, with all our resolutions and renewed excitement and determination to help ourselves and each other have safe, healthy and happy lives with diabetes, we want to thank every one of you for being here in our wonderful community.

Having diabetes can be really, really hard. It can be hard on our bodies, hard on our minds and hard on our spirits. We all know that well, of course, and that's why this community is so incredible, and so important. Most of us do not have many (or even any!) people in our immediate vicinities who truly know what this experience is like, and can honestly fathom the depth to which diabetes can affect us. Most of us have, at some point(s) in our lives, felt terribly alone in this experience.

So let's all take a moment to recognize that in this community we are not alone, and to thank one another for being here, and sharing ourselves with one another. We have come through another year with diabetes, and with each other, and that's truly something to celebrate!

With an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this community, and everyone in it:

Happy holidays!!!

Sincerely,

Manny, Emily, Mila, Mike, Corinna and Desiree

Emily - Thank you for the well-wishes.

You have grown tremendously in your role this year as a live video interviewer! Your ability to communicate with the guest and also mind and respond to what’s going on in the chat room always amaze me.

TuDiabetes remains a healthy influence in my life. Congrats and a big thank-you to all that make this possible!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Terry!! I'm so glad the community is a positive piece of your life :)

Manny and Staff,
Thank you for all the hard work you do to keep this community a true community. Each and everyone of you are a blessing.
