Hey guys!
So on October 23rd, my brother and I are doing the JDRF walk to cure diabetes in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been sending out donation letters and emails like crazy, and I’ve raised $60. My goal is $125. Chad has raised $0 and his goal is $100. It’s hard for us to raise money, because when it comes to the recession, our county is one of the hardest hit in GA. Tons of people are moving away because there’s not much work here, and the ones that are still here just don’t have much extra money they can donate.
It really means a lot to me to be able to reach my goal by walk day, so if you have anything you can donate (even if its just $5), could you please do so? It would mean so much to me if you could
Here’s the link to my online fund raising page if you’d like to donate online:

Here’s the link to Chads page if you’d like to donate to him (he deserves it for volunteering to take me to the walk):

Hey Brandi,
You still have time. I am on the Board of Directors of the Northern Connecticut/ Western Mass. JDRF affiliate. You do not have to get all of your money before the walk. It would be nice but there is time after. Our team name is “Ray and Jill’s Dream Team”. I and my daughter both have “D”. I was dx’d on July 6,1958 at the age of 3 and my daughter was dx’d on May 4, 2006 at the age of 23. Our walk was 9/19/10 and I am still receiving donations. You will get there. And yes, we together will help find a CURE!!!

Brandi,
Hi, I’m one of the volunteers for your walk! I live in Marietta! I’m not sure what “job” I will be doing, but maybe I’ll see you there!
Elizabeth
