Hi. Please allow me to introduce myself...Type 1s/2s on CGM and Insulin Pumps

Hi, DM2x40 years, insulin x32 years. Been through pumps from Disetronic, Medtronic, Omnipod, and currently Tandem X2 w/CIQ & Dexcom G7. TIR ranges 65-95% depending on the time of the year ;-). A1c 6.2-7.1%. Living reasonably with some DM complications: CKD3a x 27years, CVD, not official but come on, HTN, Hyperlipidemia, Obesity, General Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Episode, Optic Neuritis, NPDM-related retinopathy, and other DXs that I cannot recall of the top of my head.
First Malfunction Tandem-wise 12-0x2071, can someone out there tell me what type of alarm is it? TY and Happy New Year! TC

@Tina_C – Welcome to TuDiabetes. There are many Tandem users here but I’m not one of them. Please be patient until your request gets noticed.

Hey Tandem users, can you help Tina?

Hi Tina, welcome to the community. I’ve never had an actual error code displayed on my Tandem X2. From what little I could find on Tandem error codes, they seem to prefer that if you see one you should contact their tech support. I’ve always found them to be pretty responsive.

Welcome @Tina_C , I am a long time pumper and Tandem die hard.
I have used Animas and done trials several times with pods, most recently the OP5 iPhone trial.

Any of the Tandem alarms are closely guarded secrets. I tried to get my hands on the decode list. The code tells the place in the software module if there isn’t other text.

The solution is usually a hard re-start. If I may share more, ask.
