I am tired

  1. I have not been active at TuDiabetes for many months, after a long time of being very active.
  2. Drugs for my kidney tranplant are now myfortic, prograf, bactrim, & calcium (with vit d)
  3. i had a bout with a mild strain of C. diff in late fall 2008. Last test on that was negative.
  4. I have stomach problems (vomiting) most likely due to gasteopareisis. My diabetes doc has prescribed reglan at meal times for me. I am in care of a stomach doctor (gastroenterologist) for under a month. Beside talking to me, he has performed an upper GI endoscopy. That (including 2 biopsies) turned up nothing. The purpose of that test was to rule out a number of potential causes (no gasteopareisis) for my stomach problems. Next Monday I am scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound.
  5. I have also become quite lazy and have been sleeping way to much when I can.

Hi Steve:

There you are. I would think of you off and on and I would wonder where you had gone. was used to you being here often. I figured that you had become involved in another site…or 2, as sometimes happens.

It’s Good to see you. Wow, I don’t blame you for being tired. You’ve been through a lot. I hope that the vomiting isn’t daily. That’s Good to hear that your last test results for c. diff was negative. Ahhh, your body just needs some extra rest. You are Not lazy.

An F1(I think it was a 2) went through our city Saturday night. It didn’t hit near our place thankfully. But it was still scary what we had. That was my first almost tornado.

I wish you Good Luck on your Ultrasound next Monday Steve. Let us know how it goes. Take Care until then.

hey Steve, I am really sorry to hear about 1-4 but I am a little jealous about #5 in particular.

good luck on the test results and I hope ou feel better soon!

Your health issues sound somewhat like my husbands’ – he went to Vietnam and the diabetes/kidney and heart failure are the gifts that just keep on givin’ >:- Anyway, living with this makes both of us tired – Mike more than me obviously, so I truly feel that you should listen to your body and sleep when you want to!
