I'm seriously so lucky

First off we all know that it's much easier to face this disease every day with love and support from our family. That's definitely the case with me.

My family is and has always been my number one supporters through my day to day struggles. Sometimes they have said or done things to definitely irritate me, but overall I could not ask for a more loving form of support.

With that being said sometimes I tend to be wrapped up in the"me" and forget about them. The other morning I was sitting at the table working on my computer and my husband was in the kitchen doing what he likes to do. "Cook"

He's a Firemen and most of us know that they do have a reputation for being handy in the kitchen. Sometimes he forgets that his portion sizes at home for cooking are different than at the Firehouse but that's ok.

He took over the kitchen role fairly early on in our marriage and I definitely did not fight him on this role because for those that know me, I'm not the best in the kitchen.

Anyway I was just working away and while I was in my little world this was what he was doing...........![|373x480](upload://gHFnhlZitW875QPHqbHam7I8VNV.jpeg)

Yep.....that's right......he was making little breakfast sandwiches and labeling each one with the amount of carbs and freezing them. WOW........how cool is that? He knows that I struggle particularly in the mornings with breakfast because as those of us with kids know.....that is one of the busiest times of the day.

We have 4 kids and each one attends a different school and to get them all off and running every morning is quite a chore. With these little sandwiches all I have to do is pop one in the microwave and "Bam"..... my breakfast is ready. He also took the carb guessing game out of the mix for me too.

That's what I'm talking about.......I'm so lucky!!!!! Thanks Babe!!!!!!

What an awesome idea!!! Give him a hug from another mom here who has a hard time with breakfast!

LOL! I’m Happy that your Hubby is so handy in such an important way while at home. Good for him and your Family(Wow! 4 Kids). You need the help. My Hubby had tried to cook on occasion when our Kids were younger. We thanked him and gave him his pink slip(I think he was relieved  ). He does a Better job on his bbq however.
