Ok I am going from being told I can’t get pregnant, to having a possible false positive on a home pregnancy test, then getting told I am pregnant from a blood serum, then getting told I am 4 months pregnant based on HCG levels, to getting told today I am 31 weeks pregnant with a totally healthy little girl and a due date of April 12th. The ob said I can thank my A1C of 5 for the past year for a totally uneventful pregnancy thus far. I am still trying to get my head around this.
Wow, Cody. That is truly inconceivable (no pun intended!).
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, but congratulations! Can you imagine if you had found out by…um…going into labor???
Do you have people around to help you make preparations for the baby? I’m sure you’re feeling like there is so much to do right now.
A girl! Congrats! How precious!
My mom went shopping withiin 45 min of me telling her when I am due and what I am having. They are planning on driving from MO to AL right after she is born and then I am going to go back to MO with them to raise her. I have no family out here, and I don’t want to keep her away from her grandparents. I do have some great friends out here as well to help me until she is born.
Enjoy your little one - baby girls are so much fun! What an incredible way to find out you are having a baby! Congrats and I wish you a happy and healthy labor and delivery!
Congrats Cody! What a crazy way to find out!
Thats fantastic, you will be on a different planet for the rest of your pregnancy, come to think about maybe till your little girl has grow up and left home. It is a wonderful time, enjoy it. I have two beautiful girls, my control was not great before I concieved but I held it at the 5% mark during the pregnancy. I know the docs like it to be low because it happens to other folk without diabetes when they are pregnant. I hope you are feeling good.
