Insulin Pump Syncing Issues

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing a frustrating issue with my insulin pump’s synchronization with its companion app. :upside_down_face:

The app often loses connection with the pump; which disrupts my ability to monitor glucose levels and adjust insulin delivery remotely.

Insulin Pump Model: Medtronic MiniMed 770G
Companion App: Medtronic CareLink™ Connect (version 6.2.1)

The CareLink™ Connect app intermittently loses sync with the pump; displaying outdated glucose readings and preventing adjustments to insulin delivery. I’ve already tried restarting both the pump and my phone; and I’ve reinstalled the app; but the issue continues.

This problem occurs multiple times a day; which makes it difficult to manage my insulin dosing effectively. I have checked https://forum.tudiabetes.org/t/about-the-diabetes-technology-category/36- powerapps documentation guide but still need help .

Has anyone encountered similar issues; have any advice on troubleshooting this problem?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help! :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t know anything about Minimed, but I guess the first thing to check, if you haven’t already, is that the phone and pump are on the same side of your body. Bluetooth seems to communicate poorly crossbody sometimes.

This happens when your phone is out of memory. It shuts off Bluetooth sometimes.
You should go through and delete any apps you don’t need.
Also look to see how much memory your phone has available.
You can find it in settings someplace, it’s been a while since I had an android, but I know it’s there.

Third thing to do is delete all Bluetooth connections that you don’t need.

I’m guessing you will find that you a have a memory issue because it’s the most likely
