IOS 17.6 update and t-connect capatability

Hi, all. Does anyone know if the Tandem t-connect app is compatible with the new software update on i-phones? I keep getting a reminder to update my phone but I’m hesitant until I know if the t-connect will work with it.

Per Tandem, the Tandem Connect app will work with:
** Apple iOS versions 16 or 17 (including all minor updates*)*
** Android OS versions 12, 13, or 14 (including all minor updates*)*

Minor operating system updates will remain compatible (i.e. iOS 17.1, 17.2 etc.), customers should wait to update to any major release (i.e. iOS 18, Android 15) until we have confirmed compatibility.“

You don’t ask about CGM compatibility. Dexcom will work with OS 17.5.0, so the Dexcom app will not work with anything higher than 17.5

Dexcom request that we turn auto updates off. They are suppose to notify us when we can update the OS.

Not sure about Libre.

About the Libre 3 CGM: I updated my iPhone to IOS 16.7.9 a few days ago, and the Freestyle Libre 3 app still works with it.

Thank you so much, Luis. I will hold off on updating then until Dexcom is compatible.

I’m happy the Libre works with the new update, dogramma. Since I use Dexcom, I will have to wait.

Dexcom seems fine to me with iOS 17.6.1, but that’s just my personal experience.

Tandem t:connect has not worked correctly with iOS 17.5, 17.6 or 17.6.1. The Dashboard display of blood sugars and events over time stops updating and a diagonal hash pattern appears over the graph. Many users have posted requests for help (no replies from Tandem) and attempts to restart, reload or try other procedures to fix it. Some work briefly but within a few hours, the display graph ends up hashed out. No anticipated fix date from Tandem Customer support. Whomever they contracted to develop and/or maintain the t:connect app should be fired and replaced with a company that knows how to design and certify medical device software for smartphones. Note I have read comments that the Android version is worse. At least the app provides the bolus feature but I use my Dexcom G7 app for everything else.
