Recent update to t:connect Android app fixed logon problem

This post is just a “for whatever it’s worth” to anyone who might benefit from it.

Tandem released an update for the Android version of t:connect last Thursday, 04 Nov 2021. Installing this update appears to have fixed a problem I was experiencing with the t:connect app which required me to log in about 2 to 3 times a day.

What happened is that I would get the error message below and then have to sign in to continue to view my CGM data in the t:connect app.

You recently made changes to your Connected Health Account. For your protection we need you to verify your identity by logging in again.

Since I have installed this recent update that is no longer happening. I have not needed to log in to the app since I did so last Thursday after installing the update.

I just got my update today.

They were rolling them out gradually in order to avoid a potential problem with everyone simultaneously experiencing an as-yet undiscovered bug.

Glad to hear the login issue has been fixed. That was their biggest priority for this update.
