I’ve had my IR 1000 for at least 8 years now. I had to send one back, after I dropped it (thankfully it was under warranty). I’ve dropped the replacement dozens of times since, and haven’t had it go bad. It’s now out of warranty and I’m planning to switch to the Revel with CGM.
Anyway, what’s the oldest pump anyone’s using right now? Is anyone else still using the IR 1000?
Mine came with a little PDA that was a pain to use for counting carbs and keeping records.
I gave up on that after a couple of weeks.
The IR seemed superflous, though. I’m not aware that it was ever actually used.
