Long live VICTOZA here comes BYDUREON(exenatide)

Last Wednesday I went to see the diabetic specialist for my 6 monthly review blood test came back blood sugars 8.5 last time 7.5 so not good news victoza has given up the ghost with me when I first stated on victoza I lost 2 stone in 6 months and thought as you do great stuff keep it up and soon be down to 15 stone I was 19 and felt so ill and depressed I was expecting a right rocket from the doctor for if I am really honest I have not tried very hard in fact the past 6 months has been hell one illness after another if it had not been for my good friends and one in paticular it would have been even worse when you are low a quite word in your ear a message from over the pond makes all that difference vto your daily drudge through this part of your life well my life, this year I will be celebrating my 65th birthday between us me and my Angel we will have clocked up 130 years thank you God
Pausing to take my morning medication 10 pills insulin and victoza not starting the new drug quite yet going to have a victoza going away party with my friends on TU before that, apart from the fridge/freezer gurgling away in the corner the odd rattle of a water pipe expanging the house is still quite and peacefull, smudge is sleeping on my pillow that reminds me if I can manage it today have to wash the bedding try to help out about the house when Angel arrives home about 5pm she is usually tired try not to tell her I am dog tired all day long and I do almost nothing try but the spirit is more than willing but the body thinks its all over have to tell myself it is not over to the big man in the sky blows his final whistle
This is the longest I have been able to sit down and type in months but for now I will say farewell and thank each and everyone of you for your support and best wishes love you all Twiddlemethumbsx

Hang in there. Never give up!! Like you, I have sort of withdrawn and not managed my D with the diligence required. Back at trying to manage/control sugar levels. While I have been back on the site, I have missed your entries. Could you teach Smudge to type? It was with great relief to see a blog from you tonight. At age 82 your comments resonate well.
