Looking for news on the new omnipod in canada

I was wondering if anyone has any news on when we can expect the new omnipod system with smaller pods in Canada. do we know if it has passed FDA approval in canada?
I did read that it was possible that by the end of 2013 the ball would be rolling so to speak.

would really appreciate any information.

They have received Health Canada approval. There is just one issue that they are trying to sort out and then it's a go!

I’m going through the process of getting the Omnipod and will get the paperwork out next week. I spoke with the CDN rep and he gave the same answer. The approval for the new pod will happen soon… No straight answer. I found nothing on the Health Canada site. We simply have to wait it out.

Wondering if there have been any updates on the timeline for the new version of the Omnipod. I see that there is a model in the US that has a smaller pod (plus other improvements). Getting ready for a pump replacement in the new year and considering the omnipod.
