Looking for suggestions to cure post-hypo symtoms

What do you do to 'feel normal' again after a low? Yesterday I saw 39 on my meter and it took 3 juices to pop it. Today I am exhausted. Does a low deplete any vitamins/minerals than can be replenished? How do you feel normal again? Any tips?

I have different symptoms with lows.. oddly enough, I feel better after the more severe ones from a lot of juice/sugar. The last one I had like that I drank apple juice, and lot of oj and felt better than I had in a long long time.. I did a lot of housework/gardening right after and kept myself from spiking, only went to 108 or so which is great since I normally spike to 200's after that. But I remember thinking wow, I actually feel like I have some normal energy now for the first time since my diagnosis. I can feel fatigued after a low like that too, but I think doing the activity and not letting myself go too high after stopped that this time. I almost always eat some protein also after lows. The less severe lows I keep eating a little candy here and there but they seem to fatigue me and I often spike from that too unfortunately if I take too much. So one butterscotch candy or 1-2 sweetarts is enough.

I supplement a lot of things such as potassium and magnesium everyday, but not specifically after lows.

Best method? Don't get low in the first place ;)

Sorry for the (non)answer but I don't think any exist. Moreover knowing how bad it is for my energy helps me making effort to avoid it.
