Low carb pizza

I am on a very low carb (Dr. Bernstein) diets. Hardest food for me to give up was pizza. Here is my substitute recipe:

Take 1 lb of Italian sausage(or 1/5 lb of Italian sausage & 1/2 lb of ground beef)
Roll out in a 9 x 12 shallow baking dish until approximate 1/8th inch thick.

Place in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes. Remove and drain grease.

Add you favorite pizza sauce (store bought or homemade)
Add sliced mushrooms, green and red peppers, red onions, and just about anything else you would like on your pizza.

Top with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Place back in 450 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Remove and let set up for 10 to 15 minutes.
