Marriage and type 1 diabeties

I want to know that can I marry a normal girl? Will there any problem arise for the girl in future life for my diabetes?

people who are diabetic can marry people who arent. it happens all the time

Thanks for your reply tee…

I was diagnosed about a year and a half into my marriage. At first it was nearly as hard on my wife as it was on me, because she didn’t understand what this disease meant for our life together. However, she has become very knowledgable in the ups and downs of my blood sugar, and we live a very active, normal life together. She also takes great care of me when I have the occasional low blood sugar.

Yesterday I met a couple in their 60’s where the wife has had t1 diabetes for several decades. They’re still together and doing great.

Your question depends on you and the woman. If you find a loving, caring, patient, and understanding woman she’ll be there for you “in sickness and in health.” It’s entirely possible that you’ll meet some girls along the way who can’t deal with the inconveniences and worry that diabetes adds to life. However, there are good women out there. If I can find one anyone can

Thanks for you reply dank…
Great to know about the 60 years old couple…
Now I know that its all about the knowledge on the diseases and understanding between man and woman…

origonally i didnt know my feancee had it i got with him just before he was diagnosed i didnt care that he has something that ales him i love him for him he is the only thing that matters to me ( other than our son) alement and all it is part of him and something i have to live with if im going to love him ( were not married yet but it is part of the plan and even if we dont there is still the fact our son is showing signs so i might have to deal with it any ways i really hope we get married i love him so much) you just have to find a girl that is willing to take the bad with all of the good and willing to help you when you cant help your self ( like when you are really low)

So I just realized you posted this 2 years ago... but in case you're still worried... If you find the right person there shouldn't be any problems! I was with the wrong guy when I was diagnosed which actually was the last straw of our relationship when he didn't care, put any effort it, listen to my concerns, etc. When I started dating my current (still non-DM) boyfriend he wanted to know everything and has been amazing since. I'm the worry wart about my future with DM and he calms me down.
