Dear Community Members,
Does anyone have suggestions for where someone could find donated pump supplies? My health insurance changed the amount of coverage they are willing to provide for "durable medical equipment"
and at this time, I can’t afford to reorder my pump supplies. I’d rather NOT go back to 6 shots of Novolog a day so I’m reaching out to see if there are any ideas on charities/organizations that may have extra pump supplies. Suggestions? Why are pump supplies so expensive!!!

medical stuff tends to be one of the most expensive things i would say check diabetes forums might be lucky enough to find some if not check amazon/ebay tend to have them a bit cheaper otherwise thats all i can think of
Have you tried to see if Medtronic will allow you to pay for your supplies over time instead of all up front?
Pump supplies are prescription item only in the US. It is not legal to sell them via Amazon or anywhere else. That said, there are pumpers out there who for many reasons have changed pumps or supplies and have extra product. Check this and other pump forums. Someone might be able to help. Check with your suply manufacturer, sometimes they can give hardship discounts.
