Need help getting pump supplys

Hi,
If anyone knows how to get pump supplys that would be great. I losted my health insurance because my ex didn’t want to pay for it. I got help with my insulin but in need of supplies for my pump.
I need sites badly!!! Please help!!! I can’t afford my supplys, Judy

try www.ipump.org and www.needymeds.org

I lost my insurance too while I was inbetween jobs. What I did was call my pump supplier( I have Neighborhood) and asked one of the reps if she had any sample infusion sets and reservoirs for my pump. Luckily they had some that they could send me. I also called and asked my diabetes educator/endo doctor for some samples. They are good resources to ask. Good Luck!

I recommend you contact ipump.org as they have a program hat assists pumpers who are either under insured or uninsured.

Another credible source for pumping supplies is isletsofhope.com

For your insulin needs, I recommend https://www.pparx.org/ as they are the Prescription Partnership Program and can provide free medications to patients without insurance.

These are three of the most credible sources.

Hi Dennis,
Been in touch with iPump.org already when I found out my ex was dropping me from his insurance and they help me get test strips plus I go ahold of my meter people and applied for help there and Lily for insulin help. Just need help for pump supplies. Why is it so hard for someone to get that help? American Diabetic Association told me to go back to shots to reduce my expense but I don’t want to do that then my blood sugars will be all over the place. This pump keeps me right on target. Judy

Judy, here are some other resources that Manny suggests in another discussion…I also think it’s a good idea to ask your doctor or educator for free samples.

Hi

Marie, I did ask and got supplies when I was at the Drs last time I was there. But she didn’t have a good supply to give away. The Dr had just moved from Ga and couldn’t bring the supplies she had at her old clinic. I thank you all for the help. But we couldn’t have to beg like this for supplys when we need them.My pump company ain’t even willing to help. Yes a discount but I can’t even afford them then. Maybe I will have to go back to shots and forget having the great control I have had since I been on the pump.Oh well such is life I guess. Judy

Judy-

Hello! You can also look at islets of hope. They have a lot of information for assistance with pump supplies.

Hi, I tried the website but didn’t see anything that would help me. Did I look in the wrong place? Judy
