We went to Childrens Hosp. in Dallas Friday to get our training on her Cosmo pump and now we are doing the saline weekend. This thing is great! She is having a little problem getting use to having the tube and the pump on her side but it is not bad. The computer program for changing settings is so easy to use we have setup a basal rate for her to use for softball practice and it is easy for her to use. We are to go back Monday to get checked out so we can start using it with insulin. This is going to make life for her much better and I hope the highs and lows will be much fewer. Technology is a wonderful thing!
