How does everyone deal with the immense pain of peripheral neuropathy? Gabapentin doesnt touch the pain, cant even walk more then 10 feet.
Sam, There is no magic way to make this better. I suggest you get to a neurologist and let them do an evaluation. They will prescribe a medicine or two and if it works that is great. It will not cure it. These will however help. It may take a few months.
am so sorry this is happening to you. Honestly the best thing you can do is get your Blood Sugar under control and stop as much variation as possible. I know it will be difficult and if you are like me you will say what BS.
One other thing. Get some great shoes. I use Dr. Comfort shoes, they help me walk. https://www.drcomfort.com/ I suggest if you do not have one see a podiatrist as soon as possible. You will want them on your health care team.

So glad I grew out of my neuropathy. I too was on Gabapentin. But have out grown it. Had to stop the Gabapentin because it was causing leg cramps
