This is for those who are on insulin. My Endo recently changed my long acting insulin from Lantus to Toujeo. It’s suppose to last up to 36 hours if I’m correct. However, I wanted to know if anyone has tried or is on this insulin. How did it work for you? Do you like it better than the other long acting insulins? Why?
Let’s get this discussion going. Good day everyone.
I’m a T1 and have been using Toujeo since this past August. My endo switched me to Toujeo to end the 2 daily shots of Lantus and the frequent lows I was having (attributed to Lantus). We upped the Toujeo by 20% and it works great for me! One less shot and no night time lows. I’d be happy to answer any questions. I believe it’s worth a try.
