My name is Don , Type 2 diabetic since 2002… in July 2017 , my Endocrinologist recommended that I start taking insulin as Metformin and other meds were not controlling my high 250+ blood sugars. So far the Lantus insulin and Humalog have not brought my blood sugars down. I have tried Dr Jason Fung’s recommendation for LCHF diet and Intermittant fasting with limited success so far… Eating low carb has been difficult for me…
