New pods are worth the wait

My podder has used the new system for couple of weeks after using the older system for a several years. We were excited about the smaller size, but the lighter weight has turned out to be more important to her. While there is a lot more confirming of all the input it is also nice to be able to give commands from farther away.

Thanks greg on the info. Keep the good stuff coming.

glad to hear something positive about them. Thanks for letting us know. Still waiting for mine hopefully before the end of July. are you in Canada? I have not been able to get an answer to the PDM in the info packet they sent the pdm's are in colour and clear to read. When I saw the Rep's pdm it was monochrome or what they call as blue light.
also why are people being sent a meter> does the pdm not have the meter built in?

I have no doubt the new PODS will be awesome (by looking at the 4 boxes I have)

The issue is Insulet dragging their feet with the PDM's

Texas. Got the pods through Liberty and the PDM through American Diabetes Wholesale. The PDM is black with the same built in meter. The welcome screen that first lights up can be set up with different colors or the colored rubber? sleeves that fit the prior model also fit the new ones. The IOB change takes a little adjustment to get used to at first.

Did you buy the PDM out of pocket? I keep hearing Insulet is locking down the distribution of ANY pods...
