New to the site, hows it going? :-)

Seems great, I love seeing new tools for diabetics coming up more and more.

A little about myself: 15+ year Type-1 diabetic. Grew up in San Diego / Hawaii but am now currently living/working out of Europe for the time being. I’m a total geek and love technology. I spend my days working on my company, it’s a web 2.0 app for diabetics to manage their blood sugars and diabetes completely online. It is a lot of work, but also a lot of fun  We’re a few weeks away from launch.

I never used to take very good care of my diabetes, but over the past few years all that has changed. Now I’ve made much better habits and my body is thanking me for it.

I have a personal blog which I write and rant about tech, being an entrepreneur and other humorous gibberish. Check it out: and I write most of my diabetes related blog posts at

Feel free to add me!

Congratulation on your company, it must be really fullfiling to make a living doing something that improves the life of many (including your own). I’m for sure going to check your site.

Thank you for sharing!

Welcome aboard, Marston! I will log into SugarStats shortly…

Hi Marston. The SugarStats and the blog site looks great. I will most likely become a subscriber. I am also a tech geek and blog about the random thoughts in my head. Check it out over at Island in the Net.

So far, I have been VERY impressed with SugarStats. It’s very easy to use and the user interface is very sexy!

I am finding myself more aware of my eating habits even within 48 hours of having started using it. I am trying to force myself into logging every little detail about the foods I eat, etc.

I will definitely have to check it out. Sounds like it is pretty cool!

Marston, thanks for welcoming me to your community. Your website sounds fantastic. I’m going to a meeting of the Virginia Diabetes Coalition next week and would love to tell them about and because as you and Manny and community point out, these social networks and on-line tools offer such effective ways to manage diabetes. I paid attention to Manny’s comment about his first meeting with a group of diabetics. He learned more in that hour than he had in previous years. What you’re all creating is incredibly powerful. I am in awe and humbled by this opportunity to connect with all of you.
