I am sooooo super excited. I was informed today that my Omnipod is in the mail. I should have it in a few days. Not sure yet when my training will be, but I can’t wait!!! I have a new doc and I think he is going to work well for me. Seems so anyway. Well, just wanted to let you know that I am finally getting one. I hope I like it as much as I think I will. I’ll let you all know.
I think that was the longest wait that I had to do when I was waiting for my pods! I hope you love it as much as I do!

Congrats!! lol, I remember when I was waiting on my POD’s to arrive…lol it felt like Christmas. Please keep us informed.
It is kind of like Christmas. It was supposed to arrive today, but it didn’t. Now I’ll have to wait till at least Monday since DHL doesn’t deliver on weekends. Oh well, it won’t be the first time I’ve had to wait for something that I was so super excited about.
It is Saturday and low and behold my Omnipod came today!!! Wow!!! Now, it’s just a hurry up and wait for my training. OOhhhhhhhhh, how do you stand the excitement of waiting???

You will love it, I love mine and my daughter will be getting hers next week and she can’t wait either. We have had a long fight for my daughter to get hers. We both put in our paperwork in December of last year and I received mine in January, hers was denied by insurance. we submited again and again denied in June. I called her insurance to find out the problem and found her idiot doctor was not sending the paperwork to the insurance only to Isulet. now we have new updated paperwork and sent it in our selves and she was approved. We are winning the fight for her to have better control.

Waiting is easier if you have never had a pump before. I’ve read other posts from people who had other pumps and they do not wait…and I can’t blame them. Hope you get trained soon. Welcome to the club.
I didnt wait long, I found out a few days before I was getting it. But I have to admit I was tearing up when I found out I was getting it :D!

Thanks. I am already on a pump, MM 715, and I can’t wait to get rid of the tubes. I didn’t have to wait long for approval on the Omnipod because I was already approved for pump therapy. Now I just have to wait for my training, and that is hard. I have it right here and I want to just go ahead and start on my own, but alas, I will wait. Hopefully not long though!!!

Me to…They called me yesterday and said it should be hear on friday and my endo can do the training, so im calling my endo tomorrow for an apointment hopefully they can make it for next week… your right it is like Christmas

YES! I recieved my omnipod today and my training is tuesday at 10… That was awsome all i had to wait was a day and a half. My demo pod was a differnt story, those took 3 weeks. all is good though im happy lol
