I fought quite a battle on my appeal for a CGMS only to be denied and have the whole thing dropped never to be brought up again. I live in NJ and my insurance is Horizon BC BS a medicaid sponsored HMO… unfortunately the outside doctors for the company are in the company’s pocket so I had a feeling I was going to be denied, even after submitting a tremendous amount of information. I have medicare as my primary unfortunately because I am a type two diabetic they don’t want to know about any of this. My Cpeptide did not correspond with their guideline. I would love to hear anyone else s story on this matter.

If you have one that you don’t want, I could pay the shipping to Canada with paypal on something like that. I have a one touch ultra mini I’m not using since it doesn’t communicate with the pump. It is new. If you’re interested, I could exchange it for a Ultra link.
