One question, has anyone else found it basically impossible to get pregnant?
Hey there - I know of some women with diabetes who have also had fertility issues. I don’t think there’s any data supporting a connection but it does happen, just as with non-d folks. I think it’s especially tough with d, though, because you work so hard to maintain that pre-conception excellence and that gets really tough after a while! Have you visited diabeticmommy.com? I think that’s the largest publicly accessible group of women with diabetes - you might try a post there. Good luck!
Have you ever been tested for PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)? It’s linked with diabetes and can lead to fertility problems because it inhibits ovulation.
