Pump users: Anyone fly fish?

I have developed an interest in fly fishing. Do not know where it is going, but wonder how pump users deal with the water. I know some of you swim, which makes sense-remove the pump, swim, put it back on. But what about a long time, less strenuous activity in the water?

How do you handle a pump--mine is a Medtronic--water resistant, but not water proof?

here's a discussion that mentions a case

Hi Spock, I can't really answer your question because I use an OmniPod but your post caught my eye because of the fly fishing and brought back a great memory.

About 20 years ago, I went fly fishing for the one and only time in my life at Sundance Resort. It was the most beautiful place and I was surprisingly good at fly fishing. We had such a good time that day. Have fun! :)

You know that Sundance is from the movie "Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman)and the Sundance Kid (a verrrry young Robert Redford)" in 1969. I was 17 and Robert Redford was heavenly!! He owns a lot of real estate, Sundance Film Festival, Sundance Channel in that part of Wyoming. Savvy businessman.

Wow. That was a real blast from my past. THANKS, Smileandnod!

Thanks. Great resource, Marie B.
