Hi Mike . . . ever live in Santa Ana? Costa Mesa? Newport? Irvine? Orange? (We lived in all those places at some time
)
Pace (near Pensacola ) Florida now, originally from Maryland.
Such a small world! I lived in Garden Grove, Brea, Fullerton. But did plenty of work in all of the places you mentioned.
I was born in Salem, Or, but spent the first 30 years in Dallas Or. So a shout out to David from Dallas.
Me too! Only āmyā London is on the tāother side of the pond in the province of Ontario in what I call the Great Lake Grotto of ācivilizedā Canada (that should raise a few hackles in Alberta/BC
We also have the farms and big houses and a palace in āmyā London too! Well, that palace is actually an arena called the Ice Palace, but hey, a palace is a palace is a palace! And our town sits in the county of Middlesex, just like the āoldā one.
I have even lived for a short time in Perth (County), Ontario in the small town where my Dad was born, called St. Maryās. I learned to practice ātrickā dives at the quarries there since there was very little chance of banging my noggin on the bottom of the 80 foot deep gorge. Thereās also a city named Perth near our countryās capitol.
Small world, aināt it PastelP? I often wish the folks who ādiscoveredā this country came up with more original names for their new towns besides copying the cities āover omeā. I guess we were just lucky that someone else had already āusedā New England in the land just south of us.
Currently in Anchorage, Alaska - grew up in Walnut Creek, CA
I currently live in Salem, OR, which I refer to as āThe Great Wastelandā because I miss Portland so much. Small freaking world!
I spent a good deal of time in Walnut Creek and Concord, CA, because I was in a Drum Corps in Concord for a few years⦠A bunch of us actually lived in Santa Clara, CA, at the time (home of the rival Drum Corps) but weād all commute up to practice in Concord in one guyās VW van. Great timesā¦
Shouldnāt you have an image of a Nanaimo Bar next to that potato if youāre still officially a Canuck? (Is that a bad word?)
I was born in Reno NV, grew up in northern CA, ID and eastern WA.
Spent some time stationed at McClellan AFB in Sacramento CA.
Currently live in Kennewick WA which is located at the confluence of the Snake, Yakima and Columbia rivers in south central WA, very close to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation where the atomic bombs were built.
Iām in Naperville, IL and have 2x IRL friends I met here!
Born In Sacramento, bounced around between there and the Bay Area until I was 9 years old, then moved to NW Oregon until I was 18, returned to Bay Area for college-- have spent my entire career since in Alaska, where I hope to never leave.
Fun fact-- did you know Alaska is bigger than the next three largest states (Texas, California. And Montana) put together? awe inspiring distances from point A to point B here and tremendously minimal infrastructure connecting those points. I had no comprehension of that until I started having to visit specialist doctors.
I was born in northern Canada but now living in the DC area.
Born In Kokomo IN (yes Kokomo is a real place but not in the tropics) and i live in Noblesville IN. By the way, Kokomo is famous for?
Well for Ole Ben The Bull of course. However just to clear the air he is not a Bull, nor is he alive.

I was born on an Air Force Base in Illinois. Bounced around a few places (military brat here) including Alaska, Georgia and North Carolina. Finally landed in Missouri where I spent most of my teen years, then at the age of 19 I packed everything up and moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota, which is about an hour south of the Canadian border. Been here for about 7 years now!
Iām on LI in NY where I have lived for most of my life. I was born in Canada and I have dual citizenship. Iāve also lived in a few other places over the years including GB and Europe/France. My mom was from Scotland so we traveled there quite a bit and I studied in France when I was a student.
I was born in Portland, OR (at the OLD St. Vincentās) and currently live in Kirkland, WA. Kirkland is a suburb of Seattle. Itās like Seattleās Gresham!
