OK - no one likes to have dental work done, especially a root canal. The process itself was fine, but the time after she opens and cleans out my tooth causes my blood sugars to spike. I can only hope that I do not get an infection as the antibiotics play havoc as well. But I have a good dentist and she understands what diabetes can do...how good is that.
So one more thing done this year medically and I want time with nothing...had 3 fingers operated on 3 weeks ago for trigger finger release - it all went extremely well but again, would like one year with nothing....ever since I hit 40 years of diabetes I have 1 surgery per year and before that I had only 3 surgeries in total. UGHHH
I am in overall good health and take care of my diabetes, but at times, I would like a break - I am sure you can relate....
