Small red spots on my stomach – what could this be?

Hi all,

as if diabetes care over the christmas holidays wasnt enough to deal with, a few days after christmas eve I discovered I had developed all these little red, slightly elevated spots all over my chest and stomach. They are approx. about 0.5 cm diameter in size, itch a tiny bit (but not really) and they havent gone away for about 10 days now. I am trying to get a dermatologist appointment next monday but until then I thought somebody might be able to help with ideas? I did the thing that apparently 95 % of people do nowadays and googled my symptoms. All I found was something called psoriasis guttata which apparently is more common in diabetics than others. Any of you have any experience with that?
I would appreciate any feedback, thank you all!

Did you use any new soaps, detergents, powder, lotion etc? Also did you eat anything different. It sounds like an allergic reaction. You could try Benadryl. Good luck!

I agree with Kathyann that it sounds like an allergy. I get a reaction like that when I take a couple different antibiotics that I'm allergic to. Are you taking any antibiotics? Or maybe some other medication or vitamin that you haven't taken before?

Hi. Celiac Disease causes rashes. You can find info by google; here is one example: http://celiacdisease.about.com/od/whatisceliacdisease/a/DermatitisHerp.htm
