Just started a new job as a firefighter here in Ontario and cannot have the time off to go as yet since I have not accumulated enough holidays as yet and I will have to work until the New Year at this time.
Thanks Debb. I am kinda worried as well since I dont know how I will do handling my diabetes and being a firefighter especially on the shift work. I am looking into getting a pump now since in Ontario they just came out with a new program that pays for Type I diabetics pumps after the age of 18. Before it covered only before the age of 18 so this is great news for us. Thanks anyway for your considerate thoughts and have some great holidays. BEN
