Spare a THOUGHT

What do you do on a day like this icy outside due to a severe frost during the night nice to look at from inside the house where hopefully you are warm and safe, spare a thought for those who have nothing live in poverty experience pain and hunger who may be old infirm or disabled some who live on there own and do not see anyone from one day to the other, think of all the starving children there must be lots of them who have diabetes less fortunate than ourselves who have a National Health Service to look after our wants and needs, for years I have been moaning about having a heart attack and becoming diabetic how selfish can one be,I was not singled out to get those things it was mainly due to the life style I led smoking eating all the wrong stuff and ignoring sound advice from professionals, who told me more than once change your life style or suffer the consequences, yes at times my doctor was as blunt as that did I listen did I heck,I often hear people say I give to charity but they spend it on wars it is only when a disaster occurs like a tsunami earthquake or flood most people put there hands in there pockets, if I am offending anyone tough if most people are like me they just sit around feeling sorry for them selves I do sometimes, when a child dies because of hunger or disease when a mum cannot feed her children when slavery still exists it effects us all for are we not our brothers keeper, so what can we do to help those less fortunate why not start by seeing if there is a family an elderly person who you know or lives near you and has very little why not in this festive season put up a hamper of food or give them some cash to see them through for a while you may not change the World you may even be told to bug off some people are very proud even when they have nothing there is always someone else who would be grateful for the thought,if we all started in out little bit of heaven we call home our neighbourhood just think how it might spread we often blame politicians for our wows, but we all have the ability no matter how small it is to make someones Christmas a little bit more bearable than it usually is.

If you get in the habit of helping others you never know you might even enjoy it,the amount of food we throw away in our house is costly wasteful and a crime,so I need to change my ways before I start preaching to others, deep down inside me is a caring loving person who I had forgotten even existed, time for my medication and Victoza so for now thanks for reading, the ice is melting as the Suns rays touches it, cats and dogs and people are going about there way, my long day starts and i have a lot ot get off my ches,t bye
