From about last one week, I am seeing a cut on thumb skin. Instead of healing, it seems to be getting worse. Can you help recognizing what is it. Is it similar to some feet issue. Regards.
The skin surrounding the “cut” looks dry and hardened. The cut not healing could be a result of a skin problem. But then again, it could just be a cut. It would be best to have a doctor look at it.
And just some advice. To treat a cut, particularly an open wound like this you should clean it and then keep it moist. If this is actually a cut, your best treatment is to clean it with cool water and mild soap, pat it dry, smear on a triple antibiotic ointment and cover it with a bandage. Repeat this process everyday to promote healing.
And think about seeing a doctor.

You actually don’t need to see your endo for this sort of problem. A general physician or even just walking into an urgent clinic may well be all you need.

You should get tested for Neuropathy. Go to a doctor or test yourself using a Medipin
