So, as the title says, I just started the G7 from the G6 with the Omnipod 5. I do NOT want to break any rules, or cross any lines, but I have almost 40 Omnipod 5’s (G6 Only) pods left, and I cannot use them. My new script is going to be here in a couple of days for the Omnipod G6/G7 pods. I also have several G6 sensors and transmitters. None of them is “expired” or all that old at all.
Is there any legal way to pass them on to someone, or some organization that can use them instead of just letting them go to waste?

I recently donated my extra supplies to an organization called Insulin for Life.
If you live in a city large enough to have a Community Free Clinic, you could call there to see if they would accept unused, unopened diabetic supplies.

My approach is to ignore the pharmacy “time to refill” stuff and just make sure I am a couple of months ahead.
It’s difficult at the start so when I switch I try to run out the supply I have before I start using the new kit. I admit the new stuff is so attractive that I sometimes don’t quite manage that.
90 day supplies in the US are an issue; I swapped insulin recently and I’m still running down my previous insulin. The way it’s going I might get to my next 6 month endo appointment without using the new stuff!
All great ideas - Thanks! I just want to make sure that none of the supplies go to waste. I am somewhat blessed when it comes to insurance coverage, and always like to pass on everything I can to those who are not so fortunate.
