Tex Mex Pork Chops - Slow Cooker

1 onion, chopped
2 T vegetable oil
5-7 pork chops
1 cup salsa (I used Tostito's Cantina Green)
1/2 tsp ground cumin

garnishes - optional - sour cream and cilantro

In a large skillet, cook the onions in the oil until soft. put in the slow cooker. add the pork chops to the hot skillet and brown on both sides, about 1-2 min per side. sprinkle with the cumin as you put them in the slow cooker. Pour the salsa over everything. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, depending on the thickness of the chops.

garnish with sour cream and cilantro
