Another post raised the question about the per hour distribution of insulin action. In searching for an answer to that question, I came across a website, GlucoDyn, that I had visited in the past.
The GlucoDyn website has been active for several years and influenced the developers of the Loop automated insulin dosing system. The main feature of this site is a simulation tool that permits the user to input various amounts/timing of carbohydrates and insulin. It’s amazing, for example, to see how much effect that pre-bolusing insulin has on glucose post-meal.
